What is a Home Inspection?
A home inspection is a visual examination of the physical structure and systems of the house. If you are contemplating buying a house, townhouse, or condominium, you should have it properly inspected before the final purchase date by an experienced and impartial inspector.
The purchase of a home is probably the largest single investment you will ever make. The inspector will tell you:
- The positive aspects of your home
- Whether your new home is safe and sound for you and your family
- What you need to do to keep it that way
- What to "look forward to" both indoors and out, in terms of maintenance and repair the locations of useful items such as water shut-off valves, electrical panels, furnace filters etc.
